The Killing Code written by JD Kirk which was published in August 31, 2019. You can read this before The Killing Code PDF EPUB full Download at the bottom. Having read the first three DCI Logan crime books, I found them lively and kept my interest to the end. The characters are well developed, if somewhat derivative of other mystery series, the tough but flawed DCI, the unsympathetic boss, the youngsters trying to fit into a complicated environment. Since JD Kirk lives in Scotland, I was hoping for more local color. These events could have occurred anywhere. Still, the writing is good, and the story moves quickly. In books two and three, I guessed the villain sooner than expected, but that did not keep me from finishing the book.
