Layla is a wedding planner from LA, and is given the job to work for wealthy clients Emma and Carson. She arrives in Roberta, Texas to help plan their wedding and decides to relax a little bit that evening, winding up in a small town honky-tonk. While there, she’s approached by Hunter—a tall and handsome cowboy. He’s definitely interested in her, but Layla is fresh off a breakup and doesn’t reciprocate his feelings. She is charmed by his happy, goofball personality and decides she really could use a distraction. After a few drinks, some dancing, and “the kiss of a lifetime” she takes off, leaving him cold after he asks for her phone number. She’s relieved that she’ll never see Hunter again, but she’s in for a big surprise the next day when she discovers that he is the brother of her client, Carson. Brief Summary of Accidentally My Cowboy

This is book #2 in the Brothers of Lucky Seven Ranch Series…and it was just as good as book #1. This can be read as a stand-alone, but you will get some spoilers by not enjoying book #1 first. Hunter is the youngest Lewis brother also known as the fun brother. He lives, eats, and breaths ranch life. To say he’s looking for a partner would be the farthest thing from the truth. But all that changes when he happens upon a woman at the local bar, and they share a kiss that will leave both their lives forever changed. Layla is career focused. She has been working hard towards her promotion, she even ended her latest relationship by choosing her job over her ex so to say she’s looking for love would also be the farthest thing from her mind. Fate though has other plans for these two and Kristine does a great job of building up the push and pull of will they or won’t they give into their desires for each other. This is a perfect closed door (only kissing), dual POV, he falls first, career focused, accidentally text romance read that will bring you back to Roberta Texas and the Lewis ranch.
