Brief Summary Violent Attraction by Jocelyne Soto

Isabella and Santiago have been keeping an eye on each other since they were young teenagers. A few years down the line they make their mutual feelings known but are unable to be together because Santiago is finally inducted into the cartel world (or the family business as one would say). A big chunk of the book focuses on flashbacks and walking us (the readers) through Isabella’s and Santiago’s entire relationship. This definitely added a lot of depth and background information to the story and romance itself but I also felt like it was maybe too much of the book. To be more specific, the synopsis makes it seem like the majority of the book is about Santiago stopping the wedding and to be quite honest, it really wasn’t. I would say that maybe the last 1/3 or 1/4 of the book really focused on that but the rest was backstop.Again, I didn’t mind that much because it definitely added but I would have appreciated knowing that beforehand. I think the romance aspect of this was pretty nice but Santiago had a big case of ‘ill stay away to protect your which was BOOTY to say the least.
