This was a great Erotica especially for hard-core readers and bdsm lovers out there who don’t get enough of these types of content in books generally. But would I categorize this as a romance? No. For me, it lacked a sturdy connection between H/h and it failed to convince me as a reader that the characters have feelings for each other beyond physical attraction. And as we all know, physical attraction is not enough to build a relationship on. The ratio of physical activities (which is mainly dub-con and non-con btw) were just too much that it didn’t leave enough room for romantic elements. Just having a conversation about passions likes &dislike is not enough to develop romantic connection. I was really disappointed in this knowing how amazing the author is in her romantic elements. I’ve read her other books and absolutely loved every one of them.
