Their Kingdom Come is a refreshing take on the overly-saturated RH bully genre. At some point, they all start to blend together because, you know, tropes.Anyhow, adding in a religious background and some real-world issues with Catholic priests brought this book up a notch for me. The storyline kept me hooked even though I’m not impressed by the female protagonist. I sense a shock coming for her in the future when she learns why her father and Gabriel were really friends, but Trinity is just…wimpy. I’m willing to give her some leeway since she’s grieving.The four male protagonists have tragic backgrounds that I’m yearning to learn more about. Their Ghosts interest me. Mostly, I need to know if Trinity’s father was one.I was turned off by the constant slut-shaming and anti-LGBTQ+ rhetoric. I understand that it’s heavily religious based, but I wrinkled my nose every time.Overall, it has an interesting storyline. There were some punctuation and grammatical errors, but nothing glaringly obvious. I do plan on reading the second to see how the story progresses
