This book had me in so many different emotional states I was unsure if I loved the story or hated it. I wanted to choke Layla so many times for doing dumb things but I also hurt for her and loved her! But girl!There was a MMC that I loathed but he was needed for the book to be so good! And Jamie…. That man! This was a roller coaster of a read for me, and I didn’t even expect it. Let’s be honest, the blurb doesn’t leave you with a lot of insight as to things that might happen in the story other than 2 people who struggle to be together. I went in blind! Book 2 needs to come out NOW because the last 25% of the book and the cliffhanger left me in tears!
