The name of this series says it all “Learning to love” it’s so accurate. I fell in love with each character since the first book of this series. This book did not disappoint, I love Layla’s sassiness and her love for other people, I understood the frustration that Adrian (hero) had for Layla of putting other people first, Layla always puts herself second and I liked that along the way she started to figured it out more. Their banter was hilarious, there was definitely tension since the first chapter! This book made me laugh, I love Lilian T. James writing!

Brief Summary of the Book

Layla is a musician and has a regular gig at a popular bar. One night, she spots attractive fellow musician Adrian Waters there before her show starts and introduces herself. He brushes her off and insults her, making a terrible first impression. Then, a few days later, Layla finds out that he has been booked over her at her regular bar. She is understandably furious, even more so when she finds out her booking agent wants her to partner with Adrian for shows. Despite obvious mutual attraction (the tension in this one is DELICOUS), both of them are SO stubborn and continuously create situations where they piss each other off. It’s a SLOW burn, but the banter makes it worth it.
