Brief Summary Of Bones and Skulls by Samantha Ziegler

This was certainly a mind-bending story. The main character Elyse is a powerful and badass witch who holds some dark secrets close to her chest. I always enjoy a story where the main female character is very much so in control of what’s going on, and I think this book really delivered that. Elyse is a strong woman, and I can admire her bloodthirsty tendencies and hope to see a bit of her “Villain” arc in the next book. I loved how she and Killian interacted because they both were headstrong. I also really enjoyed watching Killian and his pals get knocked down a couple of pegs several times. I definitely liked Elyse more than Killian, and I think that had to do with me finding him a bit too moral. (What is wrong with me?) Overall I thought that the plot had lots of twists and turns. Not all is revealed at the beginning so that makes the book so much more interesting.
