Brief Summary of Monster’s Nanny

Ralet lost his wife in childbirth. He blames his twin daughters for causing her death. He will provide for them. He can’t see past them taking his beloved wife from him. He provides no love, warmth or comfort to his daughters. They are being raised by uncaring nannies. All he cares about is Trencher’s Dwelling, his Kiphia estate. One day the twins see a human and have her captured to be their pet. Eris become a caregiver for the children when she sees how lonely they are. Eris is captured and placed in a cage. She was a pet for the twins Hira and Cleri. They are lonely and ignored by their father. Eris begins to teach the girls some games. They responded and became more open to Eris. She tries to incorporate their father in playtime. He resisted. She couldn’t understand why he ignored them. As she got to know Ralet, she learned of his wife’s death. Ralet and Eris begin to learn about each other. But the kingdoms on Kiphia are about to go to war. Ralet and Eris must work together to protect his children. Good story about grief, blaming and ignoring children, chemistry between Eris and Ralet, Ralet realizing he was using grief to isolate, find mate, children blossoming, winning a war, drama, adventure and HEA.
