Brief Summary of the Book

Light and SUPER spicy with plenty of personality, this rom com debut had me hooked from the start. I loved the concept – single dad’s new nanny realizes that he used to be her biggest OnlyFan – and I was definitely curious how it would all play out. It only took a few pages for me to realize that I was a fan of this author’s writing style, and I loved the forced proximity/sexual tension paired with the tender family moments. Our heroine steals the show, and that had me absolutely devouring the pages. I was very confident that I would be rating this as 5 stars, but the lust never shifted into love. I cannot recall a single conversation where these two discuss anything other than banging or parenting, and every scene seemed to end with something physical happening. I’m totally not opposed to a spicy read, but this is over 400 pages and I STILL don’t feel like we ever saw them falling into anything other than lust. So I think a few tweaks would’ve made it an EASY 5-star rating for me. The story follows Cassie (25), a woman who is just finishing up her degree. When she gets laid off from work, Cassie finds herself taking a job as a live-in nanny. Aiden (32) is overworked, stressed out, and desperate to get some help with his daughter, so he jumps at the chance to hire someone as qualified as Cassie. They soon discover that the sparks that fly between them could be a problem – Cassie is there to work, and her focus should be on Aiden’s daughter, not the sexy single dad she’s sharing a home with. But the two can’t seem to stop crossing lines, and things become even more complicated when Cassie realizes that Aiden is the OnlyFan who ghosted her when things got a little too real between them… and she’s not sure what to do about that.
