This book was an emotional rollercoaster. I tried my hardest not to cry, but when the book is about grieving someone you truly loved, while also trying to overcome your own anxiety about coming out, it was kind of hard not to.Corinne, the main character of the story, shares her grief and internal anxieties about the loss of her girlfriend, someone who she loved, but couldn’t come out with, because she was too scared about what people would say and do to her. Add the fact that she is also starting to crush on her dead girlfriend’s ex-girlfriend, making her more confused than she already is, makes me want to jump in the book, hold her and tell her everything is going to be alright. And to make matters worse, her mother is an alcoholic who she can’t rely on at all, even though, now is when she needs her mother most.
