Nick and Lenny stole my heart because they were so adorable, besides that he is a goalie and I have a weakness for them, the story of this couple felt real, I felt a connection with them, even though they spent “one night” together and to think that everything was there to see how they become friends and then something else was lovely.

Brief Summary of Undressed In The Crease

Lenny and Nick seems like they would be a match. He is the star hockey player she is the sports reporter who loves hockey. They have one steamy night before summer break then meet again once school has started. Nick isn’t looking for anything serious, he is determined to take his team to the championships this year. He only wants casual no strings. Lenny wants a real hard hitting piece for the school paper. She also isnt looking for serious. The issue is Lenny and Nick have off the charts chemistry and keep being thrown together. How will they work out their issues. Nick started as a jerk of a character. He was constantly explaining that he didn’t want a relationship, but he couldn’t leave Lenny alone. He seemed pretty one sided at the start. He does have some growth throughout. He finally realizes that if it’s the right relationship it won’t hurt his game. His teammates are a cast of characters. They ranged from typical college jock to romantic at heart. Their interactions were fun. Lenny learns to stand up for herself. She is treated really poorly by the newspaper she works on throughout the book. She allows much of it happen with the hopes that she will get the beat she wants (hockey). Finally, towards the end she stands up for what she wants and goes for it. The chemistry was great between the two. There is very little angst and most of the drama is resolved very quickly.
