This book was definitely more action packed than book one but I loved the alone time Lara and Aren had whilst making their way back to Ithicana and I laughed so much – especially when she finds herself in town square shackles! The tension between them two is palpable and the only thing holding Aren back is the bitter taste of betrayal.
