The Musician is such a fabulous read. This is Fiona’s book, and you are in for a treat. Fiona is one of the younger Barnes children who has grown up. She is the soft hearted and musical member of the family. She has this way of taking everyone in no matter what their circumstances. She has loved Li from afar for so long. Li is a musician like Fiona. He is of Chianese decent and targeted for it. Yes, this is a historical read that deals with the difficulties faced in times that were simpler. He has love Fiona for a while and does his best to push her away, so she doesn’t feel the pain he goes through. Fiona has this wonderful chance to better her musical life and you see this wonderful growth she goes through while she is in Paris. I love how close Fiona and Li become as they live life in Paris. I love how protective Li is of Fiona. There is such a wonderful heart to this one that just pulls at all those heart strings. I love what becomes of Fiona and Li in their Paris adventure. I could not get enough of this one.
