This book probably took more then thirty pages of me reading/listening to it before I could get into it and even then it was disappointing some. Darcy had a lot going on but the way the book was written I assumed it would be more of a romance book but I feel like the romance aspect was a subplot. The book itself reads more like a becoming of age book- which is good but when the synopsis makes it seem like a romance book I assumed Asher and Darcy would be more involved throughout the pages.They had lots of moments together yes, but not all of them were in a romantic setting. Asher was cute and seemed like a good guy but with how little their moments wrapped with each other I didn’t feel like we really got to know him a lot.
