I went into this thinking there was no way it could be as good as her age-gap series I love so much. Boy, was I wrong. It was very different, sure, but an amazing book all the same!The FMC & MMC were SO well written. I’m sure all us romance lovin’ gals can probably all relate to the FMC. She was a romance/smut reading gal with a tribe of besties who share her same literary affinity (wish I had me a tribe like that!) stuck in her own head, just cranking through school and so afraid to take a chance.The MMC was an adorable “bad boy.” I LOVED his character and how committed he was for going for what he so desperately wanted, the FMC. And not just because she was beautiful, but he came to care so much about who she was and her compassion and care.I loved them together!!! The slow burn and eventual steam was off the charts. I hope the other books are based around her book club girls. We got a hint and I bet the next one is of her bud with the hots for her older neighbor . Can’t wait!
