This book was full of the things I’ve come to know and love from Meghan Quinn; hilarious moments, cringe worthy moments and everything in between! Tessa and Myles were PERFECTION. Their connection was undeniable, and I love that they’ve crushed on each other, unknowingly, for years. Myles was exactly what Tessa needed to come out of her shell and stand up for herself. And Tessa gave Myles the strength to chase his dreams. They were the perfect complement to each other! I will say, it took me a few chapters to really get into the story, but once I did, I didn’t want to put this one down. I did want to smack the crap out of Roxane a few times, but outside of that, I really enjoyed this one!

Brief Summary of the Book

Tessa and her family have been spending summer vacations in Santorini, Greece ever since she was a young girl. Over the years, she developed a crush on the son, Myles, of the hotel owners. Several years ago she even tried to kiss him once, but that ended in embarrassment and not in the romance she had hoped for. Now Tessa’s twin sister is getting married at the Hotel Anissa and she, her twin and two of their best friends have gone early to vacation and are making it their mission to find a partner for Tessa. The antics of Tessa’s twin and their friends were a little much in my opinion. They went too far and didn’t care to listen to Tessa’s feelings on the situation. Myles has grown up at the Hotel Anissa, given his parents own it. His parents are now divorced, but Myles has always wanted to be involved. He left for seven years to go to New York City to learn more about the hotel business, but now he’s back to help his father continue the family legacy. While he has returned, his father is still icy towards him for being gone for so many years. He doesn’t understand why he went and is punishing him in his own way by shutting him out. Myles and Tessa find solace in one another given they are both dealing with their own issues. Myles accepts Tessa as she is, for who she is and doesn’t want to change her. Tessa understands that everything he has done is because he wants to be a part of what his father has created here with the resort. They also learn what they have meant to one another over the years even though they had no idea at the time what the other was thinking. Will they be able to make a relationship work even with an ocean between them?
