Jenny Hartmann is having a bad day, week and year. Last year she lost her job as a kindergarten teacher, her boyfriend stayed with her until she could no longer support them then she had to move in with her sister. She needs to make a plan and decide on the future. Unexpectedly her sister’s in-laws loan her their mountain cabin for a week. With the promise of some peace and quiet to focus, Jenny takes her old car and starts driving north in a snow storm. Low bars and an almost non-existent charge on her phone. Then her car stops. What to do, stay in a cold car or walk to town. Jenny is a fun character. She says what’s on her mind and talks to herself. She knows she has to take care of herself. She puts on as many clothes as possible, grabs her phone and purse and starts off toward town. Then to make her job even harder she falls in the snow and injures herself. Daniel Torres is a Dragon man working in security for his clan, MirrorPeak. As a Protector it is his job to always be on alert for anti-dragon activities from AHOL. AHOL is the America for Humans Only League. Daniel is staying on the perimeter of the clan’s territory in his cabin. He has been tracking recent unexplained people near the Clan. As he is patrolling the area, he hears a woman yelling. “Of course, I’d fall and scrape my knee”. He must go check this out, what is a woman doing out here? Is she with the AHOL group? Regardless of the circumstances he goes to find out if he can help. His dragon is intrigued, a woman! Jenny has no real experience with dragons. She has only read books in school and that text book was over twenty years old. Now she is faced with a real, live Dragon man. He is certainly strong and handsome. This is the start of a chance meeting that could have potential. Could they be true-mates? Mating with Jenny would/could potentially start a mate-frenzy. How would Daniel protect all that he loves if he is in the grips of a mate-frenzy? Better not find out, right? Or is it? This was a good book about a Dragon Clan that little is known about. We meet many new characters and learn more about MirrorPeak. Daniel and Jenny are hot and steamy together, enjoy the read.

Brief Summary of The Dragon’s Find

Sometimes getting away from everyone and having everything seem to go wrong, can lead to things going oh so right! This is how Jenny Hartmann and Daniel Torres meet. He rescues her from a snowstorm after ole Bess breaks down on a snowy road far from anywhere! No bars on her phone means no one knows where she is, so no rescue. Daniel finds her stranded after she falls trying to get to somewhere safe. He brings her to his secluded cabin in the middle of nowhere. Jenny senses Daniel is a dragon-shifter from the start He’s a protector trying to keep snooping humans out and his clan safe! Not sure why, she feels safe with him. The situation is far from comfortable as the two gingerly tap dance around each other, each being aware they are attracted, but not willing to do anything to set off the other. They talk about their differences, human and dragon. He’s afraid to confirm she’s his mate. Her experiences with men leave her on the fence. She knows some things about dragons, he knows little about women. Neither is seeking a mate, but what happens if they really are?
A chance meeting changes into a complicated rescue, when they both hear a loud BOOM! Daniel has to get Jenny to safety!. His clan comes to get her so he can go after the one setting off the BOOMs. Daniel finds the attacker, but gets seriously wounded in the ruckus. Can Jenny Save Daniel? Are they really mates?
