The house they’re renting has a morbid history of murders and ghosts. A hurricane threatens to hit the island and they’re forced inside together with the impending threat. As if that wasn’t bad enough, they keeping hearing strange sounds in the house and now people are showing up missing or dead. Is it all a coincidence to the storm or is something more sinister at play? I thought this book was creepy and fun. It takes place in my state so it was fun seeing how they handle storm prep. The twist at the end completely blew my mind and it was not who I thought it was going to be. If you’re looking for a thrilling summer read, do yourself a favor and read this one.
