The Guild Codex series is just amazing. I have to start there. While each of the four sets in the series can be read as stand alones, you definitely want to read them in chronological order at least once. Now on to Stolen Sorcery, it was amazing. I love Kit… potential spoilers after this, read at your own risk…My heart broke for Kit and how he beat himself up because of his “lack of useful magic”. He is such a sweetheart and I so want him and Lienna to be together. He was so conflicted on what to do it was sad to see him suffer so badly with his confidence. I loved Zylas getting to make an appearance and so much of The Crow and Hammer crossovers, I miss those guys! The ending is a cliffhanger but not. That part of the story concludes but so many questions now with Darius and Kit’s final conversation! I am going to have a hard time waiting until Sept for Mage Assassin to come out.

Brief Summary of the Book

Kit and Lienna are on the run, so the story moves along quickly with almost non-stop action, but they still manage to steal a few quiet moments that continue building on their relationship. I love how both of them are sort of forced to confront how they feel about one another and the way Kit realizes how Lienna shows she cares for him with the little things that end up meaning so much. Of course we also have cameos from our favorite Crow and Hammer crew, as well. I will never tire of the interactions between everyone within this patchwork quilt of a family. I love that Kit and Lienna are practically honorary members of the Crow and Hammer at this point. Also, holy crap, Mjolnir! Yes! I once again devoured this newest book in less than 2 days and am eagerly awaiting the next one. Can’t wait for more Darius!
