Mason is our perfectly broken hero, all sullen and broody. Sometimes I get annoyed at characters that start this way but it works here. The reasons behind his personality traits do feel real and I found myself rooting so hard for him. He’s brought his much younger brother, Ty, to Winterville to help him get back on track and finish high school while staying out of trouble. Alaska and Mason are adorable together – I love it when the H is just drawn to the h and cannot keep himself away. They have just the right balance of emotional and physical connection. Swoon worthy!
