I’m loving this series! I’m so glad that Lucy McConnell didn’t wait until December to spread this cheer. Valerie just wants to heal after her parents’ deaths and enjoy the magic of Christmas again, with someone to spend it with. Collin wants a loving mom. Ethan just wants the best for his son. When Christmas wishes start curling like ribbon, Nick Kringle suggests that Ethan make a wish that might untangle the other two. Can more wishing untangle this mess or will it just snarl the wishes more? I loved Valerie’s enthusiasm, her country music hall of fame childhood experiences, and her tenderness with Collin. Ethan was wonderful. I also loved Jacob’s reaction to seeing Nick again. There were so many fun moments in this story. It makes you want to warn anybody who makes a Christmas wish with Nick Kringle!

Brief Summary of the Book

Chaos ensues when a little boy’s wish for his mother to come home for Christmas twists with a woman’s wish to never be alone for the holidays. Can both wishes come true, or will one unravel and leave a broken heart under the tree? Ethan Hall would do anything for his son, including allowing his unstable ex-wife to stay for Christmas. Pearl is a tornado wrapped up in a tsunami with a dollop of earthquake thrown in–and that’s on a good day.
