Well this was great. I’ve been waiting for this book to come out for the last 6 months or so and got so excited for it that I pre ordered. I’ll also be buying a physical copy and will continue to sing it’s praise.The Ben and Elora were fully fleshed out, and real. So much thought and consideration was put into making these characters feel alive, right down to the compassion they have for each other and small acts of kindness they show one another before they enter a seggsual relationship. At no real point did I roll my eyes and wonder why the heck they had made a choice or been annoyed that they couldn’t see what was directly in front of them.The spice level of this book was well balanced with the story and I won’t stress too much over my concern for Elora…her poor lips! I’ve been assured that much of the spice is indeed species accurate.The Author’s notes suggested there’s grey area cheating. I fully disagree. Elora is in a casual physical relationship with someone who is also getting nekked with other people. I don’t consider her doing the same thing as infidelity in anyway.
