Beautiful slow-burn age gap romance that will touch your heart. I really enjoyed the characters in this story and felt for each of them and their commitment to their families. Having someone you love being impacted by a stroke or Alzheimer’s is devastating and takes a real emotional toll. The supporting characters really created a well developed story with their insights and support. Maverick and Christopher’s connection was a real push/pull for a while until it became something so much more than physical. The story is low angst and you get to see both characters grow together. I loved Chris’s family and their support and acceptance of him.
