We have already established a connection with most of the characters in the previous books, and it feels good to see how they interact with each other. The support and encouragement you experience among them is something every person should be so fortunate to experience at least once in their private- or work life. Support from the people around you means a lot to a person.Justice for Boone is a little bit different from the other books in the series. This time it is the male person in need of protection and who better to provide that than Sheriff Deputy Hayden Yale. Boone is a rancher, and he has a problem with his ex-girlfriend. She is abusive, both physically and mentally, stalking him and hurting him in a very troublesome way. With her experience, Hayden has no problem in seeing how this is going to escalate and she is trying to give him some much needed advice how to handle the situation. I guess that with each specific case of abuse, the one being abused cannot be pushed and persuaded to do something until they “feel” what is the right moment to act for themselves.
