Brief Summary Intertwined by Jerilee Kaye

This is one of my favorite books of all time. The pain, emotions, anger, heart-warming, and love that I felt for these two characters have sucked me in their world. Travis Cross & Brianne Montgomery. Travis’s best friend was Thomas. He saw him as an older brother while he grew up in a broken home. His parents weren’t around in his childhood life because they were too busy with their careers and they didn’t want their child to get in the way so he was sent to his grandparents. When Tom introduced Travis to his younger sister Brianne, Travis was instantly smitten and star struck when he saw her. His feelings only grew from there. When a tragic accident happened, it only brought Travis & Brianne together. They became best friend and then ended up getting married because Brianne had a deadline to prevent herself to get cursed if she didn’t get married by 30 or so she thought because it was a superstition in her family. She was the forbidden fruit that he can’t have but he couldn’t resist because she was the only person that could melt the ice away from his cold heart. As they navigate through life from their teenage year into adulthood, they both experienced loss, love, neglection, pain, abuse(Travis), they both relied on each other to overcome the obstacles that was thrown towards their way. It’s a love story but it comes with grief & pain that made these two characters lives intertwined with one another.
