This story had one of a best-handled learning-the-truth back stories I’ve seen, and while I was worried at first that it wouldn’t be emotionally resolved in a way that would satisfy MY weird romantic wishes, I should have just known to trust Josh and enjoy the ride. Andy and Quinn’s past as teens adds a delicious unresolved layer of intrigue to the fun, including the part where Andy thought Quinn was…well, no spoilers. But the resolution to that and all that happened–and the way they finally talk it through in the present (don’t worry, this isn’t a story plagued by momentum-stealing flashbacks) was ultimately so satisfying I had to eat my hat.
