I read this book in 1 sitting and I swear anybody that saw me would think I was insane due to laughing and crying sad tears at the same time. Ivy has a way of pulling all the emotions out of you and this book was no different! This is probably one of the BEST second chance romance books/ series I’ve read. Ivy broke my heart a little more but healed it at the same time. I needed this book, I needed to See Brooklyn grieve for Miller, I need to see so many things ( no spoilers here) some I didn’t even know about until I read them! I am still heartbroken that Miller is gone but have always been a Mattlyn fan! The (not so) untouchables back together again…with wives and children now…AMAZING! Brooklyn’s dad…I have so many questions still that I hope will get answered in book 8 but definitely some interesting developments there. NIGEL? Nigel was very entertains and Brooklyn navigated all of those situations amazingly well! The CLIFF HANGER at the end? I knew there would be something but THAT was not the cliff hanger I was expecting. I am so excited to see what book 8 brings even though I am already a little sad knowing this is the end of the story…

Brief Summary of the Book

Everything is exposed. Brooklyn tells Matt about how her dad put her in the house with Miller and of all the ‘happiness’ the Untouchables had without her and how she believed him. Matt tells her that it was all a lie. She finds out that ‘daddy dearest’ gave the ring back to Matt and that Matt spoke his wedding vows at her funeral. Brooklyn realizes her dad told her a bunch of lies and that they are all now exposed. Brooklyn struggles with her love for Miller and her love for Matt. She keeps talking to the stats and asking Miller for advice. Matt finds Brooklyn at his house and they argue, she slaps, and he dares her to hit him again and he pushes her against the house and they have unprocted s3x again. and Jacob are introduced by Brooklyn only to find out that they already know each other. Jacob and Axel meet! Justin sees Brooklyn and kisses her and then says, “Nope, still gay.” and kisses her again.
