Another cozy paranormal mystery! This one is a little more violent than the others, but nothing too horrible or gory.Fi is having some training done with the MLO for her new position where she gets to understand her magic more and maybe learn a thing or two channeling her magic without destroying everything. She also gets some investigating experience when Detective Ladd, rather reluctantly, takes her with him when the attack happens. It was fun having her put the pieces together and make progress on harnessing her magic!It’s a fun, short read with some development for Fi’s personal life and some growth for her career. It can read in about one afternoon with a cuppa! It’s clean (albeit with murder), with no swearing or gory detailed violence.
