This series has been on my TBR for far too long!! The idea of illustrations made this book even more exciting!! I figured I would read it on KU and then have to buy the book to see the drawing so I was very surprised when I found out the illiterate editions was on KU!!!! And man did it not disappoint!!!I loved how Cal and Aida started as enemies willing to destroy the other completely to having to be married in such a short time to actually falling for each other. The tension and sass between them both was amazing!! And I laughed multiple times in this book. I have a similar sassy attitude to Aida so I thought it was hilarious when she would mouth off the Cal and any other “scary” member of book with no disregard to the fact they were twice her size. She seriously has no fear when it comes to opening her mouth.My only complaint of this book is that it felt like it was not long enough but only for the simple fact that I wanted to see more of these 2 together. I am hoping they will still develop and blossom in the rest of the series. I did read this book in 1 day.
