Beautifully Cruel written by J.T. Geissinger which was published in May 15, 2020. You can read this before Beautifully Cruel PDF EPUB full Download at the bottom. This duet is kind of a “spinoff” of the ?????? & ???????? series I started way back in March. (We see a bit of Declan, the MMC from ?????? ?????, and another important character.) But it definitely has its own storyline. (I didn’t know about this duet until reading the Acknowledgements in ?????? ?????, but I think it might be worth reading it before reading ?????? ?????, to get a bit of background on certain characters…) Liam is a hot, mysterious man who has been obsessively visiting the diner Tru works at for almost a year. Tru is working her way through law school, and has no idea that this sexy mysterious stranger is actually the boss of the entire Irish Mafia.

Brief Summary of the Book

Life is unfairly hard for introverts. Something as common as interacting with another breathing human can knock us off kilter for days. In fact, I’m not sure socializing has even one tangible benefit. If I didn’t have to work for a living, I’d never leave my apartment. Unfortunately, I’m often mistaken for an extrovert because when I’m nervous, I chatter on and on. I can’t count how many times I’ve had to duck into a bathroom stall and do deep breathing exercises to try to calm down. I return to the dining room without looking in the wolf’s direction. When I get to the bald guy at table twelve, he grunts his thanks around a mouthful of hash as I refill his coffee. Then I feel a strange crackle over my skin. It’s like a current of electricity, prickling hot and stinging. I glance up. The wolf stares across the room at me as if he’s got me in the sights of a gun.
