Asher is a brilliant biology scientist in the making and found the move from the small town of Vana as an eye-opener. Callie has a talent and gift for animals and is finding it hard to fit into a place where everyone is made from the same mold it seems. It was a great kickoff to my new year of reading. The characters were so interesting, but I found that I could relate to Callie so much more than Asher.
