Whiskey was absolutely phenomenal!! I have read and loved every book by Sybil Bartel but this one completely blew me away. Whiskey has made appearances in other AES books, but we finally get to see his story and who he is behind the scope of his rifle and OMG! He is definitely my new favorite AES hero!This book is the 7th book in the AES series and the storyline was filled with captivating suspense, superb action and hellooo romance!! Whiskey and Anika are focused on very different crafts in life but together their chemistry was explosive. The way Sybil wrote their banter and dialogue propelled the storyline and really showed her talents as a writer. I was blown away by how the author crafted Anika’s voice. Sybil is definitely a virtuoso in her own right!!Whiskey and Anika have both suffered, and my heart ached for them at times, but they get their HEA and I loved every minute of it! I also loved seeing the other AES characters in this book. There are familiar faces such as Alpha, November, and of course Talon, but also we get to see Blade, Ghost, and Delta in action and OMG are they hot hot hot!!
