I love all things by Nikki Ash and have had this book on my calendar forever it feels like. It was good to see a Brody again since he is all grown up now. The first chapter and prologue absolutely gutted me. Like this book will have you balling your eyes out within the 1st 4 minutes of starting! Utter devastation! But it slowly puts you back together. I did think our FMC was a bit too forgiving and far to easily even though she has experienced many losses, and just wanted to appreciate the people and love she had, it came off as her being weak and the guys definitely should have groveled. The kids were great and I wanted more of their interaction with the guys. Also, I wanted more about the kids…all of them at the end. I wanted to see the guys dad up and see that dynamic so bad! Definitely recommend!
