Wed to the Wolfman is a dystopian paranormal romance. Kyden is a werewolf that is matched to his mate through a blood test. Blue, his mate is human and comes from an impoverished village. The meet, are wed and Kyden takes Blue home to his pack, where there is some trouble brewing on the boarders. I liked this book but it’s so short that everything happens at a rapid pace. The mating and the conflict all take place over a handful of days. Speaking of the mating, it leans a little towards bestiality with a partial shift during sex. It was a bit too much for my liking. Overall, Wed to the Wolfman was an entertaining read. I would have liked it to be fleshed out more, but for the length, it was good.

Brief Summary of Wed to the Wolfman

Kyden is a wolf alpha who has never found his mate. He has visited many packs searching for her. His people believe that mated alphas are much stronger and the pack will be better off especially since a neighboring pack keeps invading. He is finally desperate enough to go to the marriage temple where a simple blood test could match him with a human mate. After a few months of waiting, he gets the letter stating that his mate is found. Kyden decides to seek her out before the mating to be sure. One look at Blue and he is ready for the mating. Blue was found as a baby with no idea of who her family was. A family took her in but life is tough as poor humans. They work very hard for their boss and can barely make ends meet. Then her adopted sister has a baby who turns out to be so sick, everyone is worried that it might die. Blue knows she can help her family by signing up to marry a monster at the marriage temple. When she mates, the large fee will go to her family so they can pay for food and a doctor’s visit. Blue is happy with her chosen mate but things keep happening that keep them from settling down in their mating.
