Magnus stays true, and strong, and I love realizing that HIS sense of responsibility has gently led his wife, Kaitlyn, into a more responsible adulthood. It’s very different – each is from a very different time, and there is a power interrupting their lives that goes far beyond Gabaldon’s books. This does, perhaps. have a bit more fantasy or magic about it. BUT – I love that I can look up specific places mentioned on Google, AND SEE THEM! It’s more modern. It’s fascinating to imagine a man from 1702 Scotland suddenly showing up on a Florida beach in the 21st century.
