I’m going to start off by saying that I wasn’t sure how I would like the second book of this series. I’m not a fan of second chance romances or a virgin trope. HOWEVER, Elle Kennedy is such a good writer that she made me enjoy it in this instance!John Logan is one of the top players of the hockey team. And he’s pining for his best friend’s girlfriend (that would be Hannah from The Deal). So he does what most guys in series like this do, and finds random girls to hook up with. He randomly meets Grace (a first year) and they hit it off but the way he handles the situation pushes her away. Grace leaves the country for the summer to spend time with her mom, leaving Logan to realize he’s made the mistake of his life. He vows to spend his last year proving to her that he’s worth it.
