this book did not disappoint! I love how the authors developed all the characters, how they are all related/interrelated, and trying to figure out who is telling the truth. This book was compelling, never a slow spot, and I could hardly put it down. I sure hope we get to see Avery, again, in a sequel. She is a fabulous character – flawed but highly intelligent, intuitive and caring, in her very matter of fact way. We need to know more about Avery, what makes her tick, and watch her unravel her next complicated client’s issues.
