Captivating magical beautiful world with lovable and powerful characters. You have dual point of views of the two main characters. You have a bad ass female main character who every bit as beautiful as she is lethal with her knife throwing skills with a tongue just as sharp and sweet! Then you have a charming handsome caring prince with a big secret. The slow burn, sizzling banter is the icing on the cake. And you can’t forget the supporting character Xoc you instantly fall in love with! So much twist and turns that have you holding your breath. Geneva grabs you from the beginning and takes you for a ride to the very end then leaves you not knowing what to do with your life except wait for the next book!! Absolutely beautiful work of art!

Brief Summary of Sun Serpent

Elyria is our FMC & she is looking for answers on who she truly is, and later seeking some major revenge…. She’s witty, she’s strong, she’s beautiful & packs some serious fighting skills!! Callen is our MMC – a prince who lies a little to get what he needs to save his kingdom… he’s kind & caring but also strong & powerful. The banter between Elyria & Callen was so good… I loved it – they had me laughing many times. Their chemistry & connection really shone through. I also loved Xoc (I would read an entire book just about his character) but specifically loved when the banter included him… many times it would be Elyria & Xoc almost picking on Callen and I loved it. Another character I really enjoyed that was introduced towards the end of the book – Rei & I am really intrigued by her & hope there is more to come on her story. The world & character building in this book was so beautifully done… I cannot even express how I felt reading this & being able to completely visualize this amazing fantasy world Geneva Monroe has built… I find sometimes when I am reading I have a hard time visualizing what an author is trying to describe and that was not a problem with Sun Serpent – I could see every character, location, structure etc so clearly… it was truly exceptional. You know it’s special when you’re reading something and you can see or feel what the author is trying to convey.
