Summit Lake written by Charlie Donlea which was published in March 28, 2017. You can read this before Summit Lake PDF EPUB full Download at the bottom. Its a good read. The revelation of the secret/mystery is near the end, which caused me to keep my interest till there. I don’t like when we find the main mystery part of the novel in middle or way earlier, so I like this one. I like the reporter/journalist in the novel who is searching for the truth, but she upsets me so much near the end when her friend wants them to go while she was more interested in the case and ignoring her friend’s distress. Also, I don’t like how it ended. I don’t want to spoil, but something really bad happened to the reporter before she was invested in the case and she was trying to heal from it. In the end, she did heal, but what I am annoyed is at the fact that she went back to her past hobby without any protective measures. Ofcourse, just because something bad happened in the past doesn’t mean it can happen again, but shouldn’t we all learn from the tragic incidents from our past?
