I’ve read some of the other reviews and I don’t totally understand why Kyle wasn’t liked. I can see Drs. maybe having a Fbuddy to overcome the drama and heartache. Two consenting adults both agreeing and taking care of emotions. Hey to each his own. Plus he was so focused on his career and what he wanted to accomplish being honest with himself and his FBuddy. Until that one fateful night in the ER when he sees and tries to help a pregnant woman (Alexa, Lexi AKA Elizabeth). Kyle knew he shouldn’t get involved, he should keep it professional but as the old saying goes “The Heart wants what the Heart wants,” or something like that LOL. In my opinion this read was a lot less stressful then the others in the Stone series. Yes bad things were revealed, and yes Lexi ran but lets face it when you’ve been physically abused you’d probably do the same thing in fear of being found. Six months later after Kyle’s heart was torn to shreds she shows back up. I can truly understand Kyle’s apprehension. She’s a runner. Plus thank you Ethan, he did some digging after the Husband shows up asking questions for Kyle. So yeah Kyle knew some of the situation. It seems that or rather my opinion was Lexi wasn’t willing to try and get a divorce from her husband. She just wanted to keep things as they were and she wanted Kyle also. I can understand Kyle not wanting this. How could he be sure she wouldn’t run again and totally break him.

Brief Summary of the Book
