Brief Summary Soul Bound by Nicholas Woode-Smith
This was a great prequel! It is an excellent introduction to Kat’s world! This fast paced story includes quite a bit about the characters at least for me having read the series everything in this prequel was new information. Kat’s dynamic with Treth how she met Brett. I love both the fight scenes (with no weapons) and casual humor between Brett and Kat it’s well written.This to me really brought to life the beginnings of a post apocalyptic vibe with the undead and gives tid bits not found in the first few books. So it was fun and refreshing to see a deeper glimps into how this all began for Kat.I love that we finally see how Kat found Alex. The story-line for this is fantastic and having read this after the first 4 books. I thought it was a great add in. Or if you haven’t started the series it’s a great way to get pulled into the Kat-verse.
