This book was so good! Katelyn is so sassy, so funny, I absolutely have a girl crush on her. I love a fellow curvy book nerd. She’s relatable and I cannot say enough good things. Her and Jackson’s meet cute is one of the best. How can you not love that man?! While I’m usually all for the morally grey red flag AlphaHole (those guys are my kryptonite) I am finding that I’m falling for the opposite side of the spectrum. Jackson is the perfect mix of Daddy/Big D Energy and the sweet Golden Retriever Energy. He’s all the things wrapped in a hockey player body.. literally the perfect hat trick. This book had a slow burn feel to it which really was all kinds of foreplay. The banter was freaking amazing, the steam was so hot. The secondary characters are legendary. I want Mother Mary to be my best friend. The girls are #SquadGoals for sure. The whole thing with Izzy turned out nothing like I expected it but I love it so much. I laughed out loud from all of the crazy shenanigans, and the smexy scenes were well written and all kinds of yummy. I kind of saw where a particular plot point was going, and while it made me mad, I really liked how it was written. I flew through this book and I can’t wait to read the others in the series. Big fan of the Minnesota Sleet. Grab this one, it’s worth the hype!
