Single Dad Protector Next Door written by Lacey Kendrick which was published in March 17, 2023. You can read this before Single Dad Protector Next Door PDF EPUB full Download at the bottom. I am a big fan of Lacey Kendrick, but for some reason I wasn’t sure if I wanted to read this book. I was still amped up on the excitement from reading her previous book Broken Protector Next Door. If you haven’t read that one yet you should check it out. But, that being said Lacey is one of my favorite authors and I knew Single Dad Protector Next Door would be a book I would later kick myself for not reading. Good decision, because this was definitely a book worth reading. I went from not being sure to not being able to put the book down. The plot was exciting and full of action with just the right amount of hot steamy scenes. Assad, Andrea and Ellie are characters who I loved and I found myself easily relating with them. Assad has been living with pain and guilt for so long. His daughter Ellie is the only thing that makes life worth living and keeps him grounded in the here and now. Sadly, this has led to Assad becoming a grumpy man with no social life outside of his daughter and business. Out of nowhere comes this tornado of a woman…Andrea. While she is running from her own demons Andrea still manages to be full of happiness and quickly becomes friends with Ellie. Now that she is far away from the nightmare her life used to be and has a new lease on life Andrea decides to make her dreams come true. Ellie is your typical teenage girl with teenage problems. Assad is a great father and does his best to give her advise when it comes to those teenage problems. This is where Ellie benefits from Andrea coming into their lives. With the much needed guidance those problems aren’t so big and quickly becoming a thing of the past. There is plenty of tension between Assad and Andrea from the first time they met that continues to escalate until the chemistry building between them explodes into passion. Their lives are about to implode and the clock is ticking. Can they find a way out or were they doomed from the beginning?

Brief Summary of Single Dad Protector Next Door

The main characters in the story, Andrea and Asaad, have each had a past that not only changed lives, but also their present. While seemingly opposites, Asaad dark and brooding, and Andrea a ray of sunshine, a connection surfaces. But not all is smooth running when a drug cartel gets involved, shots are made and danger surrounds them. Can they survive it all and find their HEA, or if they survive, each end up going their separate ways? This is the first book by the author that I have read and I found it engaging, if a little dark.
