Brief Summary Saved by her Bodyguard by Emily Hayes

I found this story entertaining and exciting to read. The fact that one of the main characters Elizabeth Myers was a politician, but was never mentioned if it was a state house, or senate, representative but in the epilogue mentioned was elected 4 years later to US Senate. I really liked how the author incorporated into the story of ex military who are affected wIth PTSD returning home and the realization that VA hospitals are so overwhelmed that they are not able to properly provide long term therapy for veterans with PTSD. I truly enjoyed the romance and the epilogue between Elizabeth and her bodyguard, Alex who was also the sister of James that worked for Elizabeth. Yet I was a little disappointed that Elizabeth’s age was never mentioned nor was Alex only the fact there was a 15 year difference and saying Alex was thirty something is no help. Though this didn’t change my opinion of this story. I truly recommend this book to everyone that loves an age gap romance.
