Brief Summary Pillow Thoughts by Courtney Peppernell

The topics spoken about are not original and i felt like i was reading something that i had read before … there were no unique points of view that i saw only cliche references that have been overused in poetry. If you like lang leav, Nayyirah Waheed, button poetry or spoken word this book is not for you (as these are some of my favourites and this book did not hit that same level) I would say this book has to be read when you are first getting into poetry and are younger otherwise the pieces may feel to ‘samey’ or too familiar to you.
