One of the ‘PWF’ books – Midlife Curses is a very quirky read, filled with extraordinary characters, humour, a solid clever murder mystery plot with lots of unpredictable surprises – it’s a real entertaining read. The main character Constance suddenly divorced and without a job finds herself at her Grandmother’s house in Creel Creek and then things and life gets really different. She discovers that she will become a witch on her 40th birthday and that not all paranormal characters are fiction – plus there is a murder! Oh, and the chapter headings are a scream.I look forward to Book 2 Never Been Hexed – as the story continues. I hope Constance’s familiar Brad (a trash panda) makes it back from the shadow realm.
