Ryan O’Connell has written A novel that has literally made me laugh out loud. All his witty zingers and pop culture references were a highlight. The story is written in very fast paced chapters and never lingers in dull territory. It brings up themes and points of self validation and self discovery, trying to find your authentic self when society tells you otherwise. Main character Elliott deals with the complexities of his mind when it comes to matters of his disability, sexuality, and addictions. A very fun but engaging journey. Be advised though that there’s a ton of explicit sex scenes and free graphic talk about it. Read with an open mind or avoid if too spicy and not your thing.
