Brief Summary Hideaway by Dean Koontz

This book started out moving fast, drawing the reader, me, into the story, then it waned, and it waned, and it waned. I put this book down several times, so it took me months to finish it. Finally, I decided it needed to be finished so I could move on to other stories. About halfway through, maybe a few chapters before that point it began to coalesce into a decent story, then it got good. The excitement that Koontz captured in the first couple of chapters was back. All in all, I’m glad I finished the book. It turned out to be a good read. Though the ending was typical Koontz. I would recommend this book if you have the patience to get beyond the first third.
