I could not get enough of this one. You will not be able to put this one down. My heart was stolen by Jess. Jess just has this big heart and knows what he wants. He will do anything for Pippa including being a fake ex husband. He will own your heart and put a smile on your face. I love his ways with Banks that will leave you in stitches. Pippa knows what she wants and how she feels about her choices. She hasn’t had the most caring parents but she found that within the Carmichael family growing up. The chemistry is red hot and will have you glued to the pages. The banter will leave you laughing out loud and swooning all the way through. Jess and Pippa are simply fantastic together. I love how Pippa fights right in with the family. I love when temporary and pretend become oh so real. Jess is my favorite Carmichael at the moment but I have a feeling that may just change with Banks’s book next. You are not going to want to miss a moment of this one.

Brief Summary of the Book

Pippa worked at a matchmaking company and she was up for a promotion. Her jerk of a coworker commented that since she was single, no one should be taking her advice. Pippa responded by saying she was actually divorced, and that her ex was still obsessed with her. Unfortunately for her, she now needed to prove this ex existed. That’s where Jess Carmichael came in. Jess was ecstatic that Pippa moved back to town, he had a major crush on her forever. When he overheard her dilemma he offered to help, with 1 caveat – give him a chance to prove how great they could be together. Jess Carmichael is officially the ultimate cinnamon roll book boyfriend. Sweet, swoony and sexy with a filthy mouth. In my opinion, there is nothing better than when the cinnamon roll has a dirty mouth. Jess fell first and he was just. He’s played off Pippa’s rejections for years and now that she was willing to give him a chance, he was all in. This man all in was unbelievable. Pippa had no chance whatsoever of resisting him.
